Looking forward to an AMAZING day of Play. Here are the necessary details.
The tournament will start at 10am SHARP for all teams at the Queen's PEC. The gym will be open anytime after 9am for warm-ups ( no warm-up time in between games).
Team captains will be expected to attend a team captains meeting (5mins) at 9:45am in the lobby of the PEC. If you cannot attend please make sure your team has one representive. Teams not present will forfeit plus/minus points prior to the start of play.
Teams will play timed 25 minute (or to 41) round robin matches ( 3 pools of 5) before breaking off into second round pools (5 pools of 3) for two more round robin matches ( 6 matches in total). Teams will then play playoff rounds in a more traditional (mostly best of 3) setting, where we will crown an "A" and "B" tournament champion. Teams will be seeded based on overal plus/minus througout the day for playoff games.
Teams should prepare to play fairly consistently from 10am-230pm ( when playoffs begin), as their are limited breaks. The finals should be wrapping up around 5pm. Please bring some cash to purhcase some new RYATT GEAR and visit some of our tournament sponsors and remember the year end party is at the IRON DUKE from 6pm-8pm.
Teams must have 6 players fully registered before being accepted. There will be limited spots for this free tournament. Sign up early
