Games are 3 games to 21. Cap at 21. Each game has 1 hour of alloted time, including set up and warm-up, please be mindful of this.
A small change to scheduling has occurred for Men's Playoffs. Round two will start Oct 22nd and run until Nov 19th. This will feature games only againist teams in your own Division. Round 3 will take place Nov 26 and Dec 3, in which teams will face teams primarily in opposite divisions. Teams in A will play more matches to even out total number of matches for the entire season. At the completion of round three teams will be ranked overall from 1-9 based on their total wins for the entire season ( Round 1,2 and 3). The 9th place team will be eliminated, top 8 will advance to quarterfinals. QF will be a best of 5 match on Dec 10th and Semis and finals will be best of three on Dec 17th.
ON DEC 3 - Games will be played at Queen's Main ARC - Upper Gym - 3 courts.
On Dec 10th - Games will be played at Queen's Main ARC - MAIN Gym - 2 courts
Quarterfinals will feature a best of 5 game which each set being to 21. Cap at 25 for all 5 games ( if played). Winners advance to semifinals the following week. Semi's and Finals will be best of three to ( same thing - to 21 cap 25).
2014 Merchant Taphouse Men's League
Fall 2014 Men's League will start the second week of September. Teams will play Wednesday nights from 7-10pm at Holy Cross SS and Queen's University. Teams will be broken into two tiers of play (COMP + INT-COMP) - teams will have opportunities to move up or down divisions. Teams will play 1, 2 or 3 matches in an evening (mostly 2). Teams should target 8 players ($65/player). Playoffs will take place in December.
